Everyone is excited for Loki's First standalone series on Disney called 'Loki'. 'Loki' is all set to premiere on 9 June 2021 at 12:30 pm IST/12 am PT. ut do you remember when Loki first appeared in Marvel Cinematic Universe?. And then his journey?. Probably you do, if you're a Marvel fan. And, if you're a marvel fan, you will never get bored watching Marvel movies again and again like me. And today I'll tell you, 6 Marvel movies you should watch before the Disney+ Series.

1. Thor (2011)

Loki Made his first appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe with 2011's Thor. When Odin sends Thor to Earth, where Thor seems powerless without his Hammer Mjolnir. Loki Sent the Giant Destroyer to attack Thor. Later, Thor became Worthy for Mjolnir because he risked his life to save the Earth. Loki ended up back on Earth, influencing Erik Selvig to capture an Infinity Stone.

2. The Avengers (2012)

The Avengers started with thor post-credit scene with Erik Selvig. An Infinite stone was inside Tesseract(The same stone appeared in Captain America: The First Avengers). The movie Revealed that Loki has his eyes on that Infinity Stone. Later revealed that he was working for Mad-Titan Thanos.

After getting Tesseract, Loki attacked planet Earth with Chitauri(army of aliens). He opens a portal for Chitauri aliens. However, Earth's Mightiest Heroes The Avengers involved in the fight and defeat Loki closed the portal. Later, Thor arrests and took Loki back to Asgard. the Avengers end-credit scene revealed big villain Thanos.

3. Thor: The Dark World (2013)

After The Avengers, Loki was arrested on Asgard. His mother Frigga is the only person who came to see him. The only person he ever cared about was Frigga. She was the one who thought Loki about Asgardian magic. Later in the movie, Frigga died while saving Jane Foster(Thor's Girlfriend). who Thor brought to Asgard to meet his family.

When Malekith attached Asgard Thor frees his brother to help him to save Asgard and their people. It was a shocking moment but Loki didn't betray Thor. However, Loki sacrificed his life to save Thor and his planet. But Loki's death was not what it seemed.

4. Thor: Ragnarok (2014)

The movie starts with Thor and Surtur scene, Surtur explains, he was the demon that would bring about Ragnarok and destroy Asgard. However, Thor beats Surtur with his Mjolnir and carried his crown back to Asgard. Later revealed that Loki faked his death in Thor: The Dark World and then replaced Odin as the lord of Asgard. When Thor knows that Odin is not on Asgard, He forced Loki to led him back to Odin, but the Allfather had died on earth and Hella returns from Hell to claim Asgard. Hella attacks Thor and Loki, ended up banished to Sakaar. They found Hulk on Sakar, they return to Asgard. For once, Loki helped and finished the movie as a hero.

5. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

Just after Loki proved to be a hero in Thor: Ragnarok, He died with half of the Asgardians. In Thor: Ragnarok we saw a space-ship is approaching them, it was Thanos's ship. It was Thanos with Power Stone and his army. Thanos's army had overrun the ship and killed many people.

While heroically saving his people, he did a big mistake. He stole an Infinity stone from Asgard. Loki again tries to do heroic things by trying to stab Thanos, but Thanos got him and Killed him.

6. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

Still now, Loki had died, Tree times. But maybe it's not the end of the Character. It's just a new start. When Avengers went back in time to grab 6 Infinity stone to reverse Thanos's snap.

Back to the Avengers (2012), when thor was taking Loki in custody. The suitcase of the tesseract (space stone) fell to the ground. Loki immediately pick it up and ran away with the stone. 

Conclusion 

The story of the Loki series will be based on this plot in a different timeline. Where Loki messed up with time and creates multiple timelines with tesseract. In the series trailer, we can see Loki is arrested for that by TVA. 

Note: Loki of the 'Loki' series is not that hero Loki, who saved his planet and died heroically. Series Loki is from 2012, immediately after he attacked earth.
