God of mischief, Thor sinister brother, a cutting edge hero, Loki has been many things over the years, quite literally too! He has taken many a form, often with deceptive intentions. So today we're returning to our alternate versions list and counting down the top 10 alternate versions of Loki from Marvel comics.
10. Unicorn Loki
This is perhaps one of the strangest craziest transformations. the trickster god is pulled up over the years, and the earth 616 continuity. A unicorn, a fricking unicorn. so this one down and Loki agents of Asgard issue H, which was part of the Avengers and X Men axis story event in which Red Skull harnesses Charles Xavier's abilities and, the world gets weird and full of hates, at the time Loki was trying to be an upright hero, fighting for truth, justice, and the Asgardian way, literally the cover how the words have ruled the protagonist on it, this unicorn thing was what he claimed was a fast way to travel, using the purest magic, he would declare "by the power of Asgard like some prints Adam he-man mother**** and transform into this galloping white wonder with a rainbow mane and tail, because of course, he would have a rainbow mane and tail. As you can imagine the fandom was a little bit split on this one, for starters, some saw the randomness of his unicorn is being initiated to the fact that the character has fluid sexuality, but the other half the fandom decided to meme the crap out of it. His reasoning in the comics as to why he transformed into a unicorn of all creatures, was because it was meant to represent an animal that didn't represent a symbol of trickery.
9. Earth 9997's Loki
Earth 9997 also known as redacts features a more archaic-looking locate who discovers that the Asgardians aren't gods, but rather long-living mutants. who are mind locked by the celestials, who have tricked them into believing that they are immortal. when Loki tries to tell Odin and the other as guardians what he's figured out, they don't believe, to prove a point he commits suicide and ended up in Hellas realm of the debt, and as guardians end up having to fight against the celestials and their attack.
8. Loki From Earth 807128
This Loki appears in the Old Man Logan universe. And as far as Loki alternatives go, he's the most unimpressive Loki on this list, he's a giant skeleton. Now in the past, this Loki was giant-sized as his skeleton would suggest, and he was killed when the Baxter Building was dropped on top of him. All that remains is his giant old skeleton but he put up quite the fight the Baxter Building is a fictional office building in the Marvel universe that's located in Manhattan, and is 35 stories high with its five upper floors being the home of the Fantastic Four, look you skeleton appears on Wolverine volume three is you 69 Part Four of the Old Man Logan ark.
7. Earth 90251 Loki Version
This Loki is first seen in one Secret Wars volume one. if you want this one it partners, what if Dr. Doom had failed his attempt during Secret Wars, and then managed to keep his newfound Godhood, what's his deal on this, the character takes on Dr. Doom alongside all of the others as guardians but is ultimately defeated this issue was a neat little take on the one in titles, mimicking DC as iconic watchmen with its narrative style, specifically boring from Dr. Manhattan's origin story that plays out as the characters on Mars, accepted this issue the story of Dr de man his godhood is told on the moon, other romances to watchmen also appear in the issue, including a television reporter announcing Yes, God exists and he's not very cute.
6. Loki from Earth 8107
This version of Loki is the one that appeared in the television show, Spider-Man, and His Amazing Friends. Spider-Man and his amazing brand. This is one episode 10 appearance aired back in 1981 featured Spider-Man alongside Thor and his spider friends, Iceman and Firestar facing off against Loki.
The episode begins with Spidey and his crew alongside Thor helping the government out with saving a sinking ocean liner and the North Pole during the rescue mission. They happen upon a frozen Viking ship that contains two neat little gems called the twins of the gods. Look, he gets whiff of this and decides he wants them for himself upon getting them he bashes Thor and Iceman trap Spidey and forest are inside the gyms themselves. And from there, as any good villain does in the Marvel Universe, he decides to wreak havoc on New York City, eventually, they all return to fight Loki in New York, and Thor vanishes his half-brother to Asgard for punishment, wholesome f.....
5. MCU Loki
Everybody adores the MCU Loki. Do y need to elaborate any further, Tom Hiddleston Loki has proven to be one of the most dynamic villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date, he was the first major villain as far as the Avengers were concerned, bring the original six together and one of the biggest franchise payoffs ever then Adrian good, but then went back to bat and then returned to good once more, being one of the most enjoyable parts of Thor's third soul the title movie Ragnarok, the MCU Loki is equal parts baddie as he is entertaining, Woody and one hell of a good time to watch.
4. 6109 Loki's first appearance
Loki first appears in Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which is also funny enough, his last appearance on this earth to, he forms a group super-Villainans alongside old Tron Dr. Doom Enchantress and Baron Mordo called the Masters of Evil, real creative, they rob shield taking super-soldier serum and an amplifier to create an army super-soldiers Wilkie decides he wants to use this army along with some frost giants to conquer Asgard, he captures a bunch of Asgardians and imprisons them and makes himself king. Meanwhile, Dr. Doom decides he wants to steal the Odin force and become a god, something that doesn't build all that well would locate, after the trickster god is defeated by a team of superheroes, he ends up facing off against do the general public believes him to be dead. But he's just being punished alongside Dr. Doom by Odin for his treachery next century.
3. Ultimate Loki from Earth 1610
In the Ultimate Universe Loki is the son of Odin and a female giant who had procreated in an attempt to keep the peace between, Asgard and Jotunheim. When he grew up he would participate in the war against the Frost Giants alongside His half brothers Thor and Balder forming the Warriors Three. After the war he would defeat Thor in a tournament, trying to make his brother understand how everything changed concerning him knowing his lineage, Loki would then go visit his mother whom Odin had now imprisoned, and she sent him out on a quest to bring her the norn stones, which were the sacred relics that acted as an extension of Odin as power upon stealing them Loki then killed Balder and was the Spanish rashguard flashboard to 1939 this Loki was on the earth and acted under the villain alias Baron Zemo working with the Nazis Azimo does the regular, then like all the other ones do. For the most part, he used his power to wage war and Asgard killed the hog doll but was eventually stopped by Odin and vanished from the room without doors, he would later conspire to destroy the ultimate answer the world war three, na operating under a different persona called gunner golem and never too late.
2. Loki's lady Sif version (Female Loki)
Loki in the comics is known for his fluid sexuality and gender fluidity, among other things too, taking over the physical persona of Lady Sif, Loki became a woman, a powerful goddess who was cutting as rather than transforming into sip, he took over her body, something that added insult to injury to his brother Thor, considering she says X, meaning Yes, he was inside a body that his brother was also inside but in a very different way. This happened in the comics after a Ragnarok, with Loki returning in the body of sin, and fooling all the other guardians into believing that he was trustworthy. many a fan of their adore kid Loki, on earth the concepts after look these actions led to the destruction of Asgard and he later died fighting alongside the Avengers to make up for it. This happened, he had his name removed from hell his book, meaning he couldn't die, and thus he was reborn as a kid Loki if and as a young boy who Thor manages to find a Paris, who has no recollection of what the original Loki did, except horrible nightmare store restore as part of his memory and brings him back to Asgard where he suffers an onslaught of bullying, since people remember him for the atrocities and crimes that he committed, but the trickster god ends up fighting for good. Well, for a while. Turns out he develops a new hatred for Thor and this cycle begins again.
