In the last episode of the falcon and the winter soldier Sam Wilson, officially became the new Captain America of MCU. And on the same day, THR Confirm that Captain America 4 is in the work, co-written by The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman and staff writer Dalan Musson. (Musson wrote episode 5, "Truth," arguably the strongest chapter.) No director has been attached to the film at this point.
But still, no plot details are out, but 100% assume this gone be the first standalone of Sam Wilson as Captain America, in the season finale, Sharon Carter was revealed as 'power broker'. Also, she is back at her old position with help of Sam, there is also john walker who has become US agent, john walker is presented as an antagonistic foil to Sam and Bucky, until the finale, when everything seemed kind of chill. With Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) still mucking about, how long until things, in her own words, "get weird"?
Whatever happens Captain America 4, the film is most likely a few years into the future. Because MCU is pretty dang booked with lots of movies and web series, Black widow's prequel is coming on July 9, then Loki Debut series on Disney plus with Shang-Chi And the Legend of the ten rings, which just dropped one heck of a trailer--premiering in theaters next on September 3.
